Description

Decisiones Family Services was established in 2011 in Alameda County, State of California to provide services for At-Risk Youth, their parents and the community. However, the Executive Director of Decisiones has been providing counseling services for the same population through Diaz Counseling Services for over 10 years. The youth in our program are referred by school counselors and/or probation officers. They are required to complete an 18-week session program and their parent/s are required to complete a 12-week session program. We also provide assistant with job placement, college and career advising, and community service opportunity. With the help of our staff and volunteers we raise funds through work at the various stadiums. We spend our weekends selling food and beverages at a concession stand, the earnings allow us to pay our staff, buy office supplies, buy food for our groups, etc. Fundraisers allow us to continue to provide counseling services to youth and their families in the community.
