I feel like I belong here as part of the family while getting to know staff,employees,volunteers and residents with whom to share smiles, laughter & conversation. Volunteering gives me a sense of purpose & gratitude knowing you're helping others that are without family, friends, lonely or being alone. I've worked the Ice cream social, Flu shot clinic, Clothes Closet and my passion with the Residents and hearing their life stories and appreciating the legacy that they will leave behind someday. It's fun, rewarding and I love the "helper's high" I get in return **smiles**
