Vision: Welcoming the world at our doorstep through English instruction Mission: The mission of the Language Institute at UPC is to make God’s love visible by serving refugees, immigrants, and other newcomers to our area by: • Providing relevant and practical ESL instruction • Fostering caring relationships between Christian volunteers and vulnerable newcomers • Equipping volunteers with teaching skills and encouraging their spiritual growth in community

The Language Institute at University Presbyterian Church (LI at UPC) is a ministry of the Outreach Department at University Presbyterian Church. The LI provides English instruction here at UPC, including five levels of morning classes and an evening conversation class.
