To deliver education and training that enhances continuous personal growth and workforce development while maximizing community collaboration and sustained financial support.
For 50 years, the Employment Skills Center has been helping individuals become more employable, productive, and self-sufficient community members through Education and Training. We are a community based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) authorized Adult Education provider, and a DonorEdge participant.
Formed in 1967, we have served more than 17,000 individuals in Carlisle and Cumberland County, helping them to become more self-sufficient and productive citizens. The adults that we serve are in need of improving their basic literacy skills, acquiring job-readiness and employability skills, passing the GED examination, and refining their life skills to enable greater achievements.
