To address the root causes of rabbit overpopulation and homelessness by educating the public regarding rabbit care, health, behavior, the benefits of spaying and neutering, and the benefits of adopting homeless animals. To maximize our rescue, adoption, education and health efforts on behalf of the rabbits by managing our resources in a frugal, transparent and fiscally responsible manner.
Description
Our mission is to find permanent homes for domestic rabbits that have been abandoned, surrendered or abused. We accept rabbits from people who can no longer care for their rabbits. We rescue rabbits that have been abandoned. We provide a safe home for these rabbits and medical care as needed. These rabbits are then offered for adoption into loving homes. We facilitate successful placements by educating the adopters about rabbit care and behavior. We spay or neuter all rabbits placed for adoption to help reduce rabbit overpopulation.
