The Big One 2008 is a free two-day community-building event. Come engage fellow citizens, non-profits and municipal agencies in workshops and hands on demonstrations designed to create beautiful communities in the areas of Justice (Social, Food, Environmental), Health, Local Food and Green Economy, Sustainable Systems Design, Spirit and Youth Engagement.

Engaged Organizations Include WiserEarth, SF Bike Coalition, Literacy for Environmental Justice, Slow Food Nation, Global Exchange, Urban Alliance for Sustainability, Global Oneness Project, The Really Really Free Market, Cuesa, Hippy Gourmet, and more! Live Music by Alan Tower, Temple Bhajan Band and more! Food Donations from Acme Food Co., Veritable Vegetables, Arizmendi Bakery, Pacific Coast Farmers, and Guayaki Organic Yerba Mate.
