Mission Statement
We provide funding for extra-curricular activities for kids whose Mom or Dad has A.L.S. (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease.
ALS is a devastating disease and there are many expenses associated with caring for an ALS patient. We're here to make sure kids living in an ALS family can still have creative and athletic outlets. They're going through tough times as they watch their Mom or Dad slowly wither away, and so these outlets are vital to their overall well being. It is also a tremendous relief for the parent/patient, to know their kids are not limited due to their illness.
Examples of activities we've paid for: Tae Kwon Do, art class, piano lessons, a high school band trip, guitar lessons, etc.
