Mission Statement

To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-ehancing values through the game of golf.

Description

The First Tee of Lake Erie has been formed by the Ohio Junior Golf Association. Bringing together PGA Professionals, private sector, and local youth organizations.

We are a youth development program that positively influences youth through the game of golf. Kids have FUN while learning how to play golf by the rules as well as learning important life skills.

Currently, we program at five courses in the summer. They are: The Keys Golf Course in Perkins, Eagle Creek Golf Club in Norwalk, Fremont Country Club in Fremont, Oak Harbor Golf Club in Oak Harbor and Crosswinds Golf Club in Perrysburg.

During the Winter and Early Spring we take our programming to the P.E. Classes in over 10 School Districts.
