GR Initiative for Leaders

Description

In 1996, graduates of the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative were lead to take what they learned through personal assessments, leadership development, and empowerment and make it available to others in the community. Today, GR Initiative for Leaders has four programs that have provided leadership training and discipleship to over 300 youth and more than 60 adults in the Grand Rapids community. The leadership training focuses on a set of core values that equips and empowers teens and adults to be cross cultural, servant leaders who will make a difference in their families, schools and communities. The core values are: balance, empowerment, accountability, leverage, diversity and interdependence.
