Mission Statement

The Vine Street Community Center is a non-profit community based organization providing economic, social, educational, and cultural services to adults, teens, children and families residing in Roxbury, Dorchester, and surrounding neighborhoods to improve quality of life. The scholarship fund is to help sophomores, juniors and seniors who are in college finish their education.

Description

Vine Street Community Center is located in the Roxbury section of Boston, MA. We provide services to the Afro-American, Hispanic, Haitian and Cape Verdean communities. Most of the children who come to our center, home language is not English. The others are first generation Americans. We have a MA. licensed School Age Program (5-13 years old) and a Teen program. We sponsor a Senior Fishing Club and our building offers community based organizations, like the local neighborhood association a place to meet.
