Would you like to assist our residents in getting to the worship service on Sunday Mornings? Lutheran Home has an on-site Chapel but not all residents can get there without your assistance. We are looking for volunteers to push wheelchairs from resident care areas to St. John Chapel and then return the residents after worship service. You are invited to attend the service or can visit with other residents during the 10-11 service time.

As a volunteer at Hearthstone you will be a part of activities, exercise, friendly visiting, and assisting the Concierge with some duties. This opportunity can be tailored to meet your needs and interests. Days and hours are flexible based on your availability.

Join the Lutheran Home walking club by assisting residents from their rooms to physical therapy, doctor appointments, and beauty shop all within the building. This involves pushing wheelchairs and walking with residents who need assistance. Morning and afternoon hours are available.

Do you enjoy playing games, doing crafts, baking, trivia and/or being a part of discussion groups? Or how about holding a Bible Study providing music, or coming up with your own creative ideas? Come volunteer as an Activity Associate. You can assist a Lifestyle Coordinator with daily happenings! Days and hours are flexible.

Come and be a part of activities with our Adult Day Service "club members". You will help take part in cooking activities, crafts, gardening, exercises; also be a part of mealtime and special parties. You can enjoy a walk with a member, go on outings, and provide simple grooming. You will be able to take part in intergenerational activities with our members and childcare participants. Days and hours based on your availability.
