Legacy LA seeks is to make positive interventions in the lives of young people by offering alternatives to gangs and violence, building their capacity to reach their full potential, and equipping them with the tools to transform their lives and their community.

Legacy LA does has a model of academic support, leadership development, arts and culture, and mentorship, which can be seen through its two main programs; Student Success and Youth Council Leadership Program.
