Mission Statement
YWTF Seattle fights for social justice and greater equity for all people, both within the metropolitan area and well beyond. Our members are a diverse and inclusive network of activists, organizers, allies, and professionals. A product of our compassionate and plugged-in generation, YWTF Seattle isn’t devoted to just a sole cause. We care about a wide variety of social, economic, and political issues. Our advocacy initiatives are guided by the passion and knowledge of our members. Currently, our special-focus issues include student loan debt, pay equity, and ending gender-based violence. We empower our members through leadership development and our supportive network. Together, we work to make a positive impact on the world. Description
YWTF is a movement by and for younger women to fight for social justice. Together we form a diverse and inclusive group of activists, organizers, allies, and professionals that is both local and nationwide. But we’re also a community founded on the belief that we can work within and beyond the women’s movement to change the things we care about.
