The Mission of The Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas, Inc. is to coordinate a system of care that guarantees all women have access to perinatal care and that all infants have access to services that promote optimal growth and development.

Description

Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas, Inc. is one of 32 organizations throughout the state that link families to health care and other community resources to improve the quality of their pregnancies. Services are based on risks factors (not income based) that could lead to a baby being born too early or too small. Examples of services include: parenting education & support, childbirth preparation & education, breastfeeding education and support, emotional support & stress management, help to quit smoking, nutritional guidance, links to domestic violence services and other community resources.
