Mission Statement

We make it possible for those most impacted by social issues to have a voice through visual storytelling. We assist ordinary experts to identify and draw their story in a storyboard format that is distributed to service providers, policy makers, donors and others who are also impacted by the same social issues.

Description

Sidebar Stories is a 501c3 nonprofit serving as an advocacy program for individuals and other nonprofits. We facilitate an innovative approach to redemptive storytelling that is authentic and respectful.

Sidebar Stories brings people together and allows them to share their own story in a respectful and empowering way without shame or embarrassment. They're open to allowing each individual decide for themselves when participating and are encouraging to the very end. I'm happy to be an ongoing participant and volunteer with the developers and board members of sidebar stories as their missions is truly to help look for the possibility of hope.
