To provide sanctuary to disabled and special needs cats. We have cats available for adoption who are former blood donors or who have special physical, health, or psychological needs. Some cats are elderly or have come from abusive or neglectful homes.

We are committed to spay/neuter and safe outdoor environment education for cats.

Description

Belleglen Sanctuary provides sanctuary to disabled and special needs cats. We have cats available for adoption who are former blood donors or who have special physical, health, or psychological needs. Some cats are elderly or have come from abusive or neglectful homes.

Belleglen Sanctuary was supported by volunteer care from a feline blood donor colony, donations from individuals and organizations, adoption fees, and volunteerism.

We seek sponsors for each of our sanctuary cats. A sponsor provides for the monthly costs to care for an individual cat and receives a picture and biography of the cat.

Adoption

Sometimes we have cats available for adoption. We adopt our cats only to indoor homes or indoor homes with fully enclosed outdoor play or patio areas. You must be able to afford veterinary care and provide references. We require adoption fees. You must agree that if you are no longer able to care for your adopted cat, you will return the cat to Belleglen Sanctuary. We make a life time commitment to all our cats.

Sponsorship

As a sponsor, you receive a picture and biography of the cat that you sponsor. Your donation provides for care for your cat including basic veterinary services. You may sponsor on a monthly or an annual basis.

This is an Sanctuary that is 100% dedicated to the care and welfare of these 280 plus Cats. No paid staff, just 5 volunteers who do an incredible job. You money goes directly to the Cats, feeding and veterinary care and comfort. This is a lifetime committment to disabled, special needs, former blood donors, elderly,abused and neglected cats- as well as healthy Cats and kittens in need of homes. Here your time can be put to great use by comforting and caring for these wonderful Cats and Kittens. Can you help fundraise or have ideas to help Belleglen? The Cats are counting on you!
