Mission Statement

The San Jose Sports Authority is a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase the City's economic development, visibility and civic pride through sports.

Description

The San Jose Sports Authority is often charged with volunteer managment for its programs and events. A sample of programs and events hosted by the San Jose Sports Authority include: the 1997 NHL All-Star Game, 1999 Women's Final Four, 2003 USOC Titan Games and 2007 Visa Championships (gymnastics).

In 2008, we will assist with events including the Amgen Tour of California, Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon, San Jose Sports Hall of Fame, The First Tee of San Jose and the LiveSTRONG Challenge.
