Community Counseling & Crisis Center is a nonprofit organization originally formed in 1971 to provide free and confidential counseling services to students of Miami University of Ohio.
Today, Community Counseling & Crisis Center has grown into a comprehensive mental health organization providing a myriad of programs and services. These programs and services include: Butler County 2•1•1, Butler County Rape Crisis Program, a 24-hour Hotline, Outpatient Therapy Program, CHOICES - Outpatient Alcohol and other Drug Treatment Program.
Community Counseling & Crisis Center is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) and Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS). The organization is also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) to provide Outpatient Mental Health Treatment to Adults, Children and Adolescents. We are also certified by the American Association of Suicidology as a Crisis Intervention Program.
Agency funding is provided through a public-private partnership that includes the Butler County Mental Health Board, Butler County United Way, United Way of Oxford, Ohio and Vicinity, Middletown Area-United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Ohio Attorney General´s Office/Crime Victim Services, Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services, Butler County Job & Family Services, Community Development Block Grants, Butler County Board of Mental Retardation/ Developmental Disabilities, Medicaid, client fees, insurance, grants and contributions.
