Mission Statement
To work collaboratively with neighborhood community-based organizations, i.e. service providers, schools, churches, residents, local government & businesses, in order to develop and to implement programs & services that target individuals who are in crises, or who are at-risk, and that empower economically depressed communities, so as to affect economic & social improvements within these districts.
Description
Founded on the 1993 New York State initiated Neighborhood Based Initiative (NBI), WNBA began as a NYS mandated voluntary partnership of local government, & community groups deemed to serve and to empower the economically depressed and at-risk residents in targeted regions of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Hence, our goal remains to facilitate, develop and garner collaborative projects within the alliance that nurture, protect and grow our mission.
