Vietnam Homestay aim to create a mechanism to enable visitors travelling to destinations and discover new authentic areas where contain rich of cultural values and natural attractions, through that, not only to enrich your visitation quality but also stimulate your contribution to pro-poor tourism in Vietnam. Travelling with us in a responsible way and your footprint contributions to the rural poor population, together will make a different!

Description

We are a young Vietnamese team, encompassing of 4 founding members. Three of us have been working in community development and poverty reduction fields for Non-governmental Organizations in Vietnam. We aim to develop Vietnam homestay (vietnamhomestay.vn) as a Not-for-profit oriented company, established in 2014 to promote deeper authentic and interactive
tourism experiences for visitors while enabling income and employment opportunities for local people within Vietnam, through that contributes to local economic development and poverty reduction in our country.

Our homestay network connects homestay owners from major tourism destinations to mountainous areas where homestay services are developed and operated by poor ethnic minority. Additionally, we also try to promote transportation service and local food, and volunteer tourism, pro-poor tourism initiatives via practical project ideas at local sites.
