Kids Rank is looking for volunteers to help us facilitate youth programs for military-connected kids. Our mission is simple: to create community and stability for military kids wherever they are, and wherever they go. Come join us in creating and growing community for yourself and our kids by volunteering as a Pride Leader and helping us develop self-reliant, resilient future leaders in your community. Kids Rank was created to fill the gap in resources and support for military kids who famously face unique social and academic challenges as a result of frequent moves, parental deployments, and the derivative effects of social isolation and integration into new schools and communities that often follow. Creating community means introducing and integrating military kids with the amazing people in their neighborhoods and developing them as future leaders in their communities. Training and instruction will be given prior to assisting with club meetings. We serve K-10th grade students via a variety of programs from hands-on skill building activities to community service projects. Club groups meet weekly with scheduled field trips and service projects throughout the year. Volunteers will assist with group facilitation and engagement. There are also several volunteer outings and appreciation events throughout the program year.
