You’ll strategize outreach efforts, nurture relationships with businesses, and coordinate a small team of assistants to amplify your efforts. Whether you’re crafting proposals, connecting with corporate sponsors, or helping secure event sponsorships, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the rescue’s financial sustainability. With flexible hours and an opportunity to build your professional skills, this role is perfect for someone with a knack for communication and a passion for animal welfare. About us: MN Pocket Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization primarily serving the Twin Cities Metro Area, focusing on education and public outreach. Our intent is to keep all animals in their homes, with their families, whenever possible. We are committed to rescuing those pocket pets that are in jeopardy of being euthanized or are in danger of being abused, left unattended, or in other types of vulnerable situations. We ensure all animals receive proper veterinary care, medication, and special training for any behavioral issues, as well as to arrange safe, temporary homes for these animals until stable forever homes can be found. Our team is made up of enthusiastic volunteers who work passionately to serve the underrepresented and often misunderstood niche of pocket pets in the overall rescue community and the general public. Events Promoter Are you interested in helping us to spread the word about MNPPR events by actively engaging with Facebook communities? As an Events Promoter, you’ll be responsible for publicizing events in pocket pet-related Facebook groups, boosting posts, and sharing event flyers to ensure our message reaches as many people as possible. This is a fun, flexible way to contribute to a great cause while utilizing your social media skills! Join and actively participate in up to six Facebook groups focused on pocket pets. Share MNPPR events by copying and pasting text and images from the post spreadsheet into group comments to boost visibility and engagement.
