SICKLE CELL DISEASE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA MICHIGAN CHAPTER, INC. (SCDAA) (FORMERLY THE SICKLE CELL DETECTION & INFORMATION PROGRAM INC.) OUR MISSION To assist individuals to live lives that to the extent possible are unhampered and uncompromised by having a Sickle Cell Disease. To assist individuals to make informed family planning decisions they believe are in the best interest relative to having Sickle Cell Trait. To provide information and testing for the general public regarding Sickle Cell Conditions.

Description

The agency provides public education and testing to the general public and counseling, tutorial, social work and career services to individuals with sickle cell conditions.
