KENADI JEAN WEIS FOUNDATION

Description

The money for the Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation continues to allow us to raise awareness and advocate for the uniquely-abled population in our community, and beyond, through volunteering, speaking engagements and resources. We fund the perpetual Kenadi Jean Weis Memorial Scholarship to be awarded annually to a graduating BHSU Senior majoring in Special Education; stock and offer several pieces of therapy equipment in Kenadi's Closet for trial and new books to gift to children in Kenadi's Library; make custom weighted lap pads to furnish kids with sensory issues; and our big goal is for the all-inclusive Kenadi Jean Playground destination in Spearfish. The unique design will accommodate children of all abilities, allowing them to play, love, learn and grow side-by-side. Together we can do something wonderful!
