Mission Statement

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. March of Dimes helps moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. And if something goes wrong, we offer information and comfort to families. We research the problems that threaten our babies an work on preventing them.

Description

March of Dimes has fundraising events troughout the year across the state. Our signature event, March for Babies, is held in 8 cities in Arizona.

March of Dimes is a volunteer-driven organization, we cannot accomplish our mission without you! Thank you for your interest in helping us give every baby a healthy start in life!

I volunteered with March of Dimes for an entire year+ and learned a lot. When you volunteer with them you're not just a volunteer they really work with you so you are able to get something out of it as well. For the past 2 years I volunteered at their March for Babies walk and it was a blast and I got so much out of it. I had fun because I got to work with a ton of new people, and its such a great cause that everyone can relate to. And if you don't think so, well then think about this.... Why is that when you were born polio was something that your parents or you didn't have to face, because of the March of Dimes...
