When you join the Riverside Jaycees, you help us continue the great history of community service in our community. Some of our accomplishments over the years include:
q Providing over 600 Thanksgiving Food Baskets to families in Riverside
q Provided an Easter Egg Hunt each year, serving more than 7000 children over the years.
q Over $10,000.00 in scholarships to Riverside Students.
q Built a Memorial to honor not only fallen Police and Fire Fighters but also those who protect our community everyday, costing over $15,000.00
q Sponsored over 25 little league teams.
q Donated $1000.00 to Stebbins H.S. after prom.
q Donated 12,000.00 to the Riverside Fire Dept. to purchase their first Thermal Imaging Camera, which has aided in saving fellow Riverside residents.
q Provided more than 3000 gifts for residents at Mad River Manor at Easter and Christmas.
q Helped more than 150 families with DP&L, Water, etc... during rough times.
q Taken more than 650 Riverside children shopping at Christmas.
q Provide more than 100 families with food, gifts, etc... at Christmas.
q Helped with the community Christmas Food Baskets each year, providing manpower and donations.
q Donated over $7000.00 to the DARE Program.
q Donated $1000.00 to the Riverside Police Dept. Bicycle Patrol.
q Donated $500.00 to the Five Riversides Metro Park Mounted Horse Patrol.
q Donated $1,100.00 to the Riverside Fire Dept. to provide Bicycle Helmets to Riverside children.
q Donated over $3,000.00 to the Riverside K-9 units over the years.
q Continue support of the American Cancer Society.
q Adoption of Memorial Park
q Adoption of the Springfield St. corridor
q Donation of $500.00 to the Mad River Youth Soccer.
q Sponsorship of the Riverside Jayteens.
