Mission Statement

The New Mexico Wildlife Association is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation dedicated to the preservation of the rich heritage of native New Mexico wildlife and its habitat through education, scientific research, and the sponsorship of Wildlife West Nature Park.

Description

Wildlife West is a zoo in Edgewood that is home to over 25 species of nonreleasable and native New Mexican wildlife. Most animal habitats are 60% recycled materials. Wildlife West actively harvest water and is working towards a sustainable facility design. During the summer there are chuckwagon dinners, music concerts, and community events held at Wildlife West.
