Mission Statement

Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans mission is to lead Guatemalans out of poverty through education by providing sponsorship and an after-school support program for young students plus literacy and vocational training for adults.

Description

Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans is a charity educating Guatemalans as a means to a better future. Through our organization, donors provide monthly sponsorship to children living in poverty to enable them stay in school. Our charity provides an after-school support program to ensure that these children receive help to do their homework and to study for their exams. We also provide additional teaching time, with a focus on critical thinking, and we teach the children English to provide them with this much needed skill.
