Make a Difference in the lives of foster children, become a village grandparent..Santa Rosa,California. The Children's Village consists of 8 family homes,6 grandparent units,with a mission to provide stable,nurturing homes with enriched enviroment for children and their siblings in foster care.The Children's Village will be home to 48 children who will play,learn, and feel safe..Loving Grandparents are needed to complete our family..New housing at resonable rent is offered and 10 hours a week to volunteer is what we need..a loving heart, love of children,a smile and maybe a pet..You will be a HIT..we currently have 3 wonderful gandparents and are in search for 3 more..coould that be YOU????

Description

Our grandparents share time and skills with the children, support the parents and engage in activities with the children..reading,gardening, walking the dog, sewing, general play.music..you offer your interest..they will love it..Our grandparents support the training programs and groups who work at the village...You have separate living quarters on the property.In exchange for very reasonable rent ,grandparents volunteer a minimum of 10 hours of activity that are meaningul to the children..
