Giving peace of mind and economic benefits to taxpayers, families, communities, and partners, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide's knowledgeable volunteers deliver free, high quality tax service. AARP Tax-Aide is the nation's largest volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service, preparing tax returns and answering tax questions free of charge. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is offered in conjunction with the IRS.

Being a TAX-AIDE volunteer is challenging and SO rewarding! I keep coming back year after year because the taxpayers SO appreciate the free tax preparation and electronic filing we provide for them. I like keeping up with the tax law changes, enjoy the IRS training each year (more than I enjoy taking the IRS Tests every year!), and really enjoy working with the taxpayers AND our dedicated, knowledgeable TAX-AIDE volunteers. Join us! You'll provide a popular community service during the tax season--so your summers will be free to play!
