Mission Statement

It’s A New Day is a group of local citizens, patrons of and participants in the Arts, with a passion to promote the arts in our community. By mentoring young, local performers with experienced artists, we produce quality events in a variety of venues to raise money for the funding of worthy, local Arts programs.

Description

We are a group that mentors young people mostly high school aged. Giving them opportunities to perform in setting not conducted by a choral director. They perform music they love. Bond with others from the entire community not just their school and learn more about themselves, time management and other important life skills. We also work with the schools to produce live theater that relates to the English curriculum. We sponsor twice monthly events at our local library as well. These events are 1 hour long and can be music, improve comedy, poetry reading and drama. We support these events through 2 fundraisers each year. 1 out door event in the fall and then a larger concert in the spring.
