Mission Statement

Conversando Entre Amigas provide services to improve the quality life and well being of adult Hispanic women from Harris county and surrounding areas. We provide motivation workshops, educational topics, job training, prevention programs and psychological services that will fortify adult women who are subject to poverty and other barriers to self independence which will improve lives, families and communities.

Description

Conversando Entre Amigas will form partnership with local and rural civic centers, offering programs directly to the community. Conversando Entre Amigas goal is to foster a commitment to our clients that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give our clients the commitment to follow through on path to success along with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Through repeated mistakes and the development of destructive habits, disadvantage clients have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal, our clients must be in a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect.
