Mission Statement

Wisconsin Bichon Frise Rescue was founded to serve the needs of Bichons Frises and their owners in about a 150-mile- radius of Madison, WI.

Description

Wisconsin Bichon Frise Rescue, Inc. is NOT a shelter. We are a group of volunteers who take in dogs from various situations, most commonly from someone surrendering the dog (i.e. moving, unable to care for animal anymore, etc) and from puppy mill situations (if you are unfamiliar with a puppy mill, scroll down to the bottom of this page and look under Helpful Links & Resources. There is a web link to a puppy mill information page) and allow them to live in our homes until a forever home is found. Our foster homes provide the dog with various things such as: food, behavior modification, medication/vet care, exercise, socialization, and of course lots of LOVE! Our small group of dedicated volunteers is actively involved in this effort, and assist the foster home in their efforts.
