Mission Statement

The Academy of Ability is our vision of a school that works to not only meet the academic needs for our students but also fosters independence in all areas of life skills. It is our belief that though academics are essential so to is the need to develop in physical, cognitive, and emotional skills for living. It is our job to create an environment that best fosters development in all areas. Our slogan is living and learning because learning to live is equally important as making the grade, if not more.

Description

The Academy of Ability is private not for profit school for children with physical and learning disabilities. Founded in 2009, our program of education offers a specialized curriculum developed to meet not only the educational needs of the students we serve but also fosters the development of life skills essential for a more involved and independent life.
