Mission Statement

The mission of Parent to Parent of Miami is to empower and support a network of families who have children and adults with disabilities by providing hope, help, and support. We believe this event will provide your company a unique opportunity to partner and share the mission and vision with an organization that has been the leading resource for children and adults with disabilities and their families for over 28 years.

Description

Parent to Parent of Miami is a Community Parent Resource Center serving parents of children with disabilities in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. We help parents become better prepared to meet the needs of their children. We are funded by grants from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs, The Children's Trust, various foundations and your donations. Our program is a community-wide, tax-exempt, non-profit organization that provides information, educational training and support to families who have children and adults with disabilities and/or special needs. The majority of the Board of Trustees and staff of Parent to Parent of Miami is comprised of specially trained parents, families and professionals who have a family member with a disability.
