SoHo Dogs

Description

SoHo dogs was founded on the principle that no military veteran should suffer silently with their wounds. We pair rescued animals with veterans - especially those with PTSD, to promote healing in both. The veterans in our program help us train the dogs in our care, and prepare them for adoption. In our experience, people who have had traumatic experiences can relate to the struggles of animals who have suffered similar. The dogs use their innate abilities to return the favor of rescue by helping their human counterparts heal their wounds as well.
