Enso House provides physical and emotional support in a home setting to people of all faiths who are facing terminal illness. Inspired by traditional Zen Buddhist practice, we encourage and support personal efforts to deepen spiritually at the end of life.
Enso House offers a place of grace and dignity for the peaceful passing of those with terminal illness. The services provided are based on the qualities of humility, service and compassion, and include affordable around-the-clock skilled care; completely personalized care in which the guest's wishes are honored and the staff works to make them reality; emotional and practical support for family and loved ones, including the availability of accommodation and meals; and a beautiful, peaceful home on a natural 20-acre setting, conducive to meditation and reflection. Those who can best utilize Enso House are those who are in the final phase of terminal illness and whose physician has acknowledged that hospice care is appropriate; whose loved ones are unable to personally manage or afford 24-hour care at home; who have a Do Not Resuscitate Order established; and who are adults whose primary illness is not dementia.
