Mission Statement

To educate the community by providing support and information about detection, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.

Description

Our Inspiration: Co-founders Lois Joseph and Ann Harris are great examples of the reasons to get involved. Ann, wife, RN and mother of two, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 at the age of 39. Ann was Lois's nurse when she was diagnosed three months later. This year over 3,400 women in Minnesota will find themselves in the same situation as Ann and Lois; stunned, confused and frightened. In response to their experiences as survivors, This conference was designed to fulfill a desperate need for breast health information in a supportive, inspiring and non-threatening environment. Our Commitment: Survivors, families and friends are learning to live as fully as possible with this disease as they bravely explore treatment options, Our conference brings the community's best medical and therapeutic breast health experts together with anyone concerned about breast cancer. Through education one can not only survive this disease but also live courageously, creatively and with grace.
