The mission of Tumaini DC, Inc is to uplift and unleash the limitless potential of DC area youth and their families by providing support services to ensure that they can reach their full potential and contribute positively to society.

Description

Tumaini DC, Incorporated seeks to collaborate with others to build a more peaceful society where respect, love, responsibility, hope, commitment, diversity, and freedom prevails. We are educators with leadership experience in traditional public schools and charter schools. We are DCPS alumni with a unique vantage point on the problems in DC. We are leaders driving results in the private sector with project management and analytical skills. We are DC residents with a deep investment in the DC community- our community. Most importantly we are thinkers and believers. The composite of our experiences not only informs our decisions but highlights our commitment. We have, we can, we will and we do.
