Mission Statement

For citizens of Walker and surrounding counties, Rita B. Huff Humane Society strives to preserve the lives and well being of all animals through adoption, rescue, spaying and neutering, and education. Our ultimate goal is that all adoptable animals that come through our doors find loving and caring homes.

Description

Animal shelter taking in around 1200 dogs and cats per year. We have 18 inside kennels and 18 outside kennels. Also a big back yard for walking/playing with the dogs. Our cats are in a community catroom.
