This was the first time I volunteered for this event with the organization Keep Phoenix Beautiful. It was very nice to see the Deer Valley Community coming together. I had a lot of fun. Me and my mother worked the first aid and information table. We passed out flyers for Boo Fest which is coming up next weekend on the 25th and we passed out information on classes being held at the community center for the fall and the winter. We also had people signing up for a raffle for little kids to win a prize. At this event we also got here the mayor speak. It was good to help the community which I live in. I would definitely want to do this again or another event with the organization. I highly recommend Keep Phoenix Beautiful.

When I arrived at the event I knew no one from the community. At the end of the day, I got to know almost every individual that was involved in the clean up. They turned out to be very kind and helpful people.I've never met a community so involved and caring of their neighborhood. I definitely recommend joining/helping this organization!
