Volunteering at the USC University hospital was a very educating experience for me. I volunteered there for one and a half years and during my time there I met many of the hospital staff and personally attended to many patients whether it was walking with them or even just talking to them. The staff there are the sweetest and most hardworking people I've ever met. They were all passionate about their jobs and were always on task. Personally, I volunteered in about 6 different areas. The things I did varied in all the areas: setting up for big events, paperwork, flower deliveries and birthday wishes, data input on the computer, and walking patients around the hospital. If you like to help people whether they need you like the patients might or the staff that are always looking for an extra pair of hands then this place is for you.
