Expanding Your Horizons Network is known as the preeminent source for resources and experience that provide focused engagement of middle school girls from all background in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). At is core, the EYHN's unique nationwide network of STEM conferences provides a gateway for empowering girls to see themselves as future participants in STEM and STEM-related careers.

Description

The EYH conference encourages young women to pursue science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) professions by communicating the excitement and challenges women face in STEM careers. During this one-day hands-on event, female role models from a wide range of industries and professions lead workshops and interact intensively with students to motivate girls to become innovative thinkers ready to meet 21st Century challenges. Over the course of the conference day, girls are immersed in STEM activities and engage in discussions about current opportunities in STEM fields. The event is often a once-in-a-lifetime chance for these young women to directly interact with inspirational models working in STEM professions.
