Mission Statement

"The Lord has provided" Genesis 22:14

Manna House is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to caring for the needs of the poor and hungry of the Tennessee Valley and beyond as a cooperative effort that networks churches, businesses and concerned individuals. We understands that "man shall not live by bread alone," therefore, we address the spiritual needs of individuals and families and seek to identify the underlying causes of poverty.

Description

The Manna House Food Distribution Center operates under the auspices of The Rock Urban Outreach Center, an independent entity for community transformation. It does not discriminate based on race, religion, ethnicity, or social status. We network with H.A.P., a clearing house organization, to verify the accuracy of data submitted from applicants. Manna House also works with Angel Food, a program that provides assistance to families that need supplemental resources on a monthly basis.

An outreach to supply weekend food to needy students through local schools has also been established.
