To provide programs and services that address environmental, social, health, infrastructural, and economic issues of building and rebuilding a more sustainable New Orleans and world.

Description

Consciously Rebuilding, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profity with the mission to promote social and environmental responsibility through projects that focus on environmental health education in a post-Katrina and/or recovering environment. Current projects include health fairs, educational forums, and speaking events. Consciously Rebuilding recently completed a pilot glass recycling program (Jan09-Oct09) in which wasted glass is collected during drives and recycled into raw materials that can be used for arts and crafts while training local students on the recycling arts process.
