Our Mission is to recognize the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of men, women, children, and families coping with advanced, irreversible illness, and to strive to ease the end of life process for patients and families by providing quality medical care, pain management, psychosocial support, and bereavement services in a dignified and comfortable environment.
Catawba Regional Hospice was founded in 1979 by volunteers dedicated to providing end of life care for both patients and families residing in Catawba County, North Carolina and its surrounding counties. Today, our team of professionals and volunteers serves more than 300 patients daily. A comprehensive program of medical care, counseling, and spiritual support for patients and families is offered regardless of diagnosis, age, gender, nationality, race, faith, sexual preference, disability, or ability to pay. CRH is licensed by the state of North Carolina, certified by Medicare and Medicaid, is nationally accredited, and complies with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy practices.
