Join others in using your special talents in advocating for the climate. We need writers, web skills, musicians, singers, leaders, speakers, organizers, and skills of all types. We hold monthly meetings to plan our events, rallies, and educational opportunities. You may join a group of volunteers working on a specific project, or design your own. Working at home can be an option. Our volunteers have pitched in at our educational events, written blog posts and letters to the editor, gathered signatures for petitions, made brief statements at legislative hearings, set up and worked our Earth Day booth, and more. Currently, our volunteering opportunities are focused around virtual committee meetings to develop climate actions within the City of Bend, and throughout the state of Oregon. You could serve on the committee to find out what our key focal areas are, and/assist in clean energy actions that our organization and committees have identified as local or regional priorities. Great opportunity for students, interns, retirees, or anyone looking for a meaningful experience. Ready to get started?
