For over 135 years, MHY Family Services (MHY) has continued to meet the ever-changing need of at-risk youth, families and adults. Evolving from a modest orphanage to today providing a continuum of trauma-informed behavioral health services, MHY continues to make a difference in the lives of those served.

MHY Family Services is committed to providing a sanctuary to help you, families and adults heal and cope with psychological and traumatic experiences. As a Sanctuary Model Trauma Informed Organization, MHY provides a safe and connected community where clients and staff can actively engage in treatment that encourages recovery, healing and growth.

Each year, MHY Family Services provides comprehensive residential treatment and educational programming for hundreds of boys and girls (ages 9-18). Additionally MHY supports nearly 1,000 youth, families and adults through specialized community service programs. MHY specializes in serving those who have experienced such trauma as abuse and neglect that significantly impacts their behavioral and mental health.
