Special Olympics ACT brings the joy of sport and competition to children and adults with an intellectual disability giving them opportunities to achieve their personal best on and off the sporting field.

Description

Anyone who has been recognised by a medical practitioner as having an intellectual disability can become a Special Olympics athlete.

It's lots of fun and there are a variety of sports to choose from.

It doesn't matter if you are new to sport because Special Olympics caters for beginners right up to elite competitors. During competition athletes are matched with people of similar ability.
