Mission Statement
The Canadian Crafts Federation / Fédération Canadienne des Métiers d’Art is the national arts service organization that represents provincial and territorial craft councils and the Canadian craft sector. It advances and promotes the vitality and excellence of Canadian craft nationally and internationally to the benefit of Canadian craftspeople and the community at large.
Description
The CCF/FCMA is an organization of organizations. We work together with our partners across the country (including the New Brunswick Crafts Council, and all other Provincial and Territorial Craft Councils, as well as other Affiliate Organizations) on collaborative projects that advance the craft sector. Together, we can accomplish more!
The CCF/FCMA promotes professional fine craft, including artwork created in metal, wood, ceramics, glass, textiles and more. Canadian jewellers, potters, furniture makers, fashion designers, glassblowers, weavers, quilters and sculptors in all mediums benefit from the work of the CCF and our many partner organizations.
